I love Vietnamese. Ever since I’ve been to Vietnam it has been competing with Thai for the first place in my favourite Asian food ranking. I love the fresh taste of herbs together with lemongrass,ginger,fish sauce and chili,and particularly I love the fact that you can eat loads of it without gaining weight. And it’s good for your finances too as you can get high quality Vietnamese food for very little money in London. The problem with most of the Vietnamese restaurant on and around Kingsland Road,the Mecca of Vietnamese cuisine,is the fact that they are completely unsuitable for dates (unless you like having dates in a canteen style atmosphere on shared tables with people queuing into your face).  Read more...
